Testing the Internet - 26. Shifting content: Images


In this video we will show you how to handle shifting content – in this case an image moving some pixels from side to side on each page load. from a testing perspective it could be OK that the image is shifting a bit – maybe due to other modules loading in some cases – so it’s important to be able to locate elements by something other than the position of the element.

In this video we demonstrate how to use the Web Editor to specify a locator strategy for an image that is independent of the location of the image. We also show you how you can use the ‘Navigate Web’ block to refresh the current browser window as part of a loop and how to set the windows mode of the browser to “Maximized”.
